An Open Letter To @SEGA About It's Re-Releasing Genesis Games... Again

To whom it concerns,
In the near future Sega is releasing the Sega Genesis Collection for the PS4, XBox One, and other platforms... which to be honest is just another re-release of prior collections of games developed under Sega's umbrella for a small period of time of the company's illustrious history. Now I fully understand the nostalgia market is a huge source of revenue... but as a consumer, I'm not seeing the logic upon seeing Sonic The Hedgehog 91, Comix Zone, Ristar being included in a game bundle that I basically already bought with the Sega Mega Drive & Genesis Classics several years ago.
And what makes this even more frustrating as a consumer is that Sega has never re-released any of its in-house games to actually take advantage of the nostalgia market. SNK has released several of it's arcade games on modern platforms in recent years... Sega has never done that. Square-Enix has been releasing many games from it's history over the past few years such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 3 thru 9... and yet Sega is sitting on games from the 32X, Saturn and Dreamcast era.
Now I'm sure your reply to this is that 'Sega is developing / publishing new games', which is fine, but the fact that I'm trying to stress here is that Sega is beating the Genesis / Mega Drive era of its history like a dead horse and it's way-past time your company starting taking advantage of more parts of its history.
Anyway I'll wrap this up here... I look forward to the generic corporate reply that is often associated with these 'support' email accounts.
Thank you
