Hello Dwellers and Welcome to the Basement, The weekend is here and we're talking a little anime! Today I'm reviewing episode 21 of Blue Seed titled, "Goodbye? No Way! Separation with Tears?!"

Blue Seed Episode 21 "Goodbye? No Way! Separation with Tears?!"
Original Air Date: February 22, 1995
English Air Date: January 15, 2000

There was a full recap of recent episodes is provided at the start of the episode

The Cave of the Sun God is on the land of Momiji’s family

Mr Kunikida knows he has to kill Kaede but doubts he can, and Momiji and Kaede’s mother is also willing to do the same, creating a barrier with her own blood because she was once the Kushinada. Kaede and Susano-O easily break through

Kusangi battles Murakumo throughout the episode and hangs in there fairly well despite being under-powered, even drawing blood on Murakumo, but he ends up being killed by Muarakumo, Momiji actually flies to Kusanagi’s location seeing the final blow as Kusangi manages to crack the mirror but its too late

Murakumo creates a mirror that when the sun this it will signal the arrival of Susana-O at the Cave of the Sun God

Momiji can sense the presence and communicate with Kaeda and Murakumo via telephaty like she can with Kusanagi

Momiji and Ryoko went searching for the Cave, but it turned they were tracking the battle between Kusanagi and Murakumo, when Susana-O attacks

Kaede reveals that for Japan to be worthy of her protection as the Kushinada is that everyone must become plants.

Huge difference between Kaede and Momiji is that Kaede has no 'heart'

5 Episode Left: Next episode will be covered on Sunday Episode 22: "Sadness, Fate, Momiji Kushinada"

Doctor Who: The Space Museum Part 1

Hello Dwellers and Welcome to the Basement...Today we start our look at the four part Doctor Who story 'The Space Museum' with our look at part one of the story which is also called 'The Space Museum'!

Doctor Who
The Space Museum Part 1: ‘The Space Museum’
Original Air Date: April 24, 1965
Viewers: 10.5 Million (Up 1 Million from previous week)

Notes: This episode is one where we see all four members of the TARDIS crew work together for an extended period of time

The ‘time and relativity’ portion of Doctor Who is partially explained when The TARDIS jumps a time track, allowing everyone to roam around without being scene because that are not in ‘time’ with everything around them for they arrived earlier than they were supposed too.

We are reminded that Vicki is from the future, 300 after The Dalek Invasion of Earth and she has a grasp of temporal mechanics

For a comparison of the ‘out of time phase’ aspect of this episode, check out the Star Trek Next Generation Episode: The Next Phase, where a lot of the same ‘science’ is used
