DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Invasion! (Recap & Review)

Image
Hello Dwellers and Welcome to the Basement...
It's Thursday and we had a brand new episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow with Invasion! (Season 2, Episode 7), which also wraps up the epic 4-night crossover event, so we're doing a little recap & review!

QUICK NOTES So as stupid as it was with Wild Dog, having Oliver being a dick to Supergirl cause he has 'isuses' with new threats was just sillySteel's suit does indeed make him look like a star spangled idiotLiked that time travel was used as an element in this story since we were intrdouced to the Dominators attacking in the 50s back on Flash. Nate, Vixen and Rory being captured by 'Men in Black' while going to capture an alien was a good segmentThe lead MIB guy being the jerk who threatent Ms Diggle on The FLash was well done. Also the Dominators attack because of Barry's stupidity is just another Peter Parker pity moment for him. At the very least Cisco gets his 'screwed with Time' moment t…

Hello Dwellers and Welcome to Comics From the Basement...

This week, I'm reviewing Doctor Who: Supremacy of the Cyberman issue #2 from Titan Comics.

SCRIPT
Hello Dwellers and Welcome to Comics From The Basement
Last month we took a look at Doctor Who: Supremacy of the Cyberman #1, the first of a five issue mini-series done to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of one of Doctor Who’s iconic villains. And we’re back this month to go over issue #2.
To briefly recap, we are following four storylines featuring the 9th 10th 11th and 12th Doctors as the Cybermen are conquering all of time and space with the help of Rassilon who is looking for revenge following the Doctor the events seen in the episode Hell Bent last December to close out series 9 of the NuWho series. And for those wondering, yes I will do a recap and review of the Christmas special when that airs on BBC America.
But lets talk about this comic and the cover, which sees the 9th Doctor Running towards the reader, leaping from a …

Indiana Jones & The Fate Of Atlantis - Wits Path (Live From The Basement)

Image
Hello Dwellers and Welcome to the Basement...
Tonight we're playing Indiana Jones & The Fate of Atlantis, and unlike my earlier lets play of the game where it was the Team Path, I'm doing the 'Wits Path', which has a lot more puzzles... lets see how much of this I actually remember!  -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/fredcasden

QUICK NOTES Yes I've played this game so many times I can recite the dialog at timesI went with the 'Wits Path' this time out because earlier on YouTube I've done the Team Path20+ years later and the Omar Al-Jabbar and Paul Abdul names still give me a chuckleFor the life of me I can't remember which keys on the keyboard correspond for push and pullI do have a lot (and I mean a lot) of the puzzles memorized, playing this game live on Twitch kind of shows that I think. I hope to do another live stream of this either on Friday night or Saturday to cover the remainder of the game under the Wits Path.
