DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Comrpomised (Recap & Review)

Hello Dwellers and Welcome To The Basement...

It's Thursday and we had a new episode of DC's Legends of Tomorrow, so we're doing a little recap & review of the episode titled 'Compromised' (Season 2, Episode 5)

QUICK NOTES
  • This episode gives me a theory that goes back to the first episode of the series that Mrs Stein remembers seeing Jefferson and Old Martin in the 1980s and realizes in 2016 that her husband was meant to do something great which is why she was okay with him going off hoping through time.
  • I really didn't need to be reminded that Obsidian is representing the bastardized New 52 version of the Original Green Lantern.
  • Vixen and Nate are going to be the new couple on the ship and I'm betting will be leaving the crew at the end of the season.
  • Mick and Ray are just a great on-screen duo and the character growth with Mick regarding Ray trying to be like Snart is just awesome.
  •  Question if Damian Dahrk can change his fate, does this mean the Diggle's baby goes back to being a girl?

Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons (Jukebox Corner)

Hello Dwellers and Welcome To The Basement...

This is Jukebox Corner, a segment to occasionally talk about some of my favorite bands and music, and to kick it off, I'm going to talk about Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. (warning, I do 'perform' some vocalization of some songs)

QUICK NOTES
  • Under three different names )The Four Seasons, The Wonder Who, and Frankie Valli), they had 3 songs on the charts at one time
  • Considering how incredible the 60s music scene was, The Four Seasons more than held their own during the British Invasion and the surge of Motown to remain a great musical force
  • Big Girls Don't Cry, Marianne and Opus 17 are three of my personal favorite songs, which is why I 'sang' parts of them in the vlog
  • True story, how I was introduced to the group was picking a CD a random from my dad's collection because the cover looked cool
  • While they didn't have a great album, The Four Seasons put out great singles that could go head to head with anything the Beatles came out with in the same time period.
