On this edition of Basement Matinee, I review the 2016 film “Undecided: The Movie”, which is a mockumentary that was made during the circus that was 2016 Presidential Election
- Many of the stunts and events of this film ended up as national news as 'sensationalized' events, such as the issue with the arm bands, and people being ejected from campaign rallies
- The story of two guys signing up for a reality show and going on a road trip on the campaign trail really holds up, in fact it's the strongest part of the film
- All three of the prominent characters we see (Dan, John and their road producer Jen) have a nice basic character arc, that is quite entertaining to watch.
- Highly recommended for the story alone, though the stuff with our 'heroes' interacting with those who were running for President is an 'interesting' bonus to help laugh at how idiotic everything was.
